Regular Pass (Follower OR Leader)
This pass grants access to all regular workshops, as well as the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night parties, including viewing of all shows and activities outlined in the main schedule. Participation in the Warm-up Party, Competitions, and Intensives are optional add-ons.
Regular Full Passes are designated as either Leader or Follower. It is expected that you will primarily dance in your chosen role (selected at the time of pass purchase) for approximately 75% of the time during classes and 75% of the social dancing opportunities.
Buddies Pass (Follower AND Leader)
The Buddies Full Pass (Double) allows two individuals to participate in all regular workshops, as well as the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night parties, including the viewing of all shows and activities outlined in the main schedule. Optional add-ons include participation in the Warm-up Party, Competitions, and Intensives.
Buddies Full Passes are designated for both a Leader and a Follower. Both individuals are expected to dance primarily in their chosen roles (selected at the time of pass purchase), accounting for approximately 75% of their time during classes and 75% of the social dancing opportunities.
Day or Evening Pass
Due to limited venue capacity, we regret to inform you that day passes or night passes are not available.
The BraZouky experience is crafted to enhance your dancing skills progressively throughout the festival. Our Learning Program is designed as a complete learning journey with sequential levels and content. To maximize the benefits of the event, we strongly recommend attending the entire weekend. Your full participation will ensure you receive the most comprehensive BraZouky experience.
Complimentary or Awarded Pass
Complimentary or awarded passes hold no cash or credit value and are non-transferable to another individual, venue, event, or date.
Competition, Intensives and other add-ons
Registration for competitions, intensives, and other add-ons during the event is exclusive to event pass holders. Please be aware that these registrations are separate from the event pass.
Ticket Policies
Refund and Transfer Policy
We want to inform you that all registrations are non-refundable. We understand that circumstances can change, and if you find yourself unable to attend, we offer the option to transfer your ticket to another individual.
Passes may be transferred with a $25 AUD transfer fee. However, it is your responsibility to find the recipient. The pass can only be transferred between the same type of role (e.g., Leader to Leader, Follower to Follower), no cross-type transfer is allowed, and it must be for the same location and date as specified on the purchased ticket.
Feel free to express your intention on the DancePlace ‘Transfer Board’ or the BraZouky Australia Facebook Event page. Once both parties agree on the transfer, kindly email the recipient’s details and payment receipt to the BraZouky Team at info@brazouky.com. Please note that transfers can only be made until January 30th, 2025.
Changes

Competition Entrant Agreement
As a Competition Entrant in the BraZouky Brazilian Dance Festival, you acknowledge that you have read and comprehended the outlined policies, as well as the rules and criteria available on the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council’s website. Entrants are required to demonstrate courtesy, respect towards fellow competitors, and uphold sportsmanship; any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
While judges generally make themselves available for feedback after the awards, it is important to be respectful of each judge’s time. If you seek more detailed feedback that may require an extended duration, kindly respect the judge’s time and consider arranging a private lesson.
Waiver/release agreement
I acknowledge that participation in dance carries inherent risks, and there is a possibility of injury involved. By participating in the event, I willingly assume all such risks associated with the performing arts. I understand the importance of adhering to the instructions provided by the event staff, both for myself and my partner/student/coach, and I hereby release BraZouky Inc and its employees from any and all liability that may arise from my involvement in activities at the BraZouky Brazilian Dance Festival.
Additionally, I understand and agree that the BraZouky organization retains the right to capture and utilize videos or photos during and after the event, and may use such media for commercial purposes.
